The product draws inspiration from landmark research by Alexis C. Noel and David L. Hu, which revealed that a cat’s tongue is covered with sharp, rear-facing spines known as papillae. Each papilla contains a hollow cavity that naturally wicks saliva and releases it onto fur, enabling efficient grooming and hair removal.
Building on this scientific insight, PawSwing engineered a silicone-based “cat tongue” brush structure, integrated into a cozy cat house. As cats naturally enter and exit the space, gentle pressure enables self-grooming, while a felt-based collection system captures and stores loose fur through repeated friction—achieving effective hair removal safely and naturally.
Most users begin to see noticeable hair reduction within approximately 20 days, significantly reducing shedding around the home and the need for constant cleaning.
