While these features attract most cats, it’s totally normal for some to take their time warming up to new things. Sometimes, all they need is more time and patience. Cats have their own rhythm, and some may start exploring when they think no one is watching. Keep the entrance at its maximum size and place the Autocomb in their favorite spot with their favorite snacks. Over time, they’ll start associating the Autocomb with positive experiences. Our combs in the grooming entrance are designed to be flexible and movable, not fixed in place. As cats pass through, the combs gently adjust, ensuring they fit perfectly along the cat’s body to groom their fur.In theory, the Autocomb can groom cats up to 40lb, with the largest recorded cat weighing 33lb. If you’re still unsure, we recommend measuring your cat’s waist circumference to ensure a proper fit. Our comb works best for cats with a waist circumference between 28.5 cm and 59 cm (approximately 11-23.5 inches). If your cat falls within this range, the comb should work great!
